Noon chai also known as sheer chai, is a traditional tea from the land of Kashmir. The fervent pinkish color with a distinctive taste has placed the beverage in an exceptional position in its genre. It has a special place in the heart of the Kashmiri people. The days of Kashmiri folks are imperfect without it.
Noon chai is prepared from special tea leaves, salt and milk, and it is broiled in a Kashmiri Samavar. It is served with bread like Sheermaal and Kulcha. It is mostly consumed in Kashmir and occasionally served in some parts of Pakistan.
